Compress your documents until they fit the portal's limit

Visas, tenders, scholarships or any filing, on any country's portal. It sizes the whole set at once without pushing it past what a reviewer can read.

Files

Why ordinary compressors ruin filing documents

A normal compressor optimises for one thing: the smallest possible file. That is fine for a slide deck and a disaster for a government filing. The document comes out light and the reviewer sends it back as illegible, which in practice costs weeks.

This tool does the opposite. It looks for the smallest file that is still readable, and it treats all your documents as one set against the portal's cap, because that is how you are going to upload them.

How it works

1. As a set, not one at a time

The bar at the top shows each file as a coloured block inside the total cap. You can see at a glance which one is eating your budget. It is almost always a photo of a passport.

2. Text pages are never touched

A motivation letter or an employment certificate is text, not an image. Turning them into photos makes them blurry and heavier. Those pages are copied through untouched.

3. It can never make a file worse

If compressing a file would make it bigger, the original is handed back unchanged. You can run the same document through twice without damaging it.

4. It warns you when the original was already bad

If the source scan is low resolution, it does not degrade it further. It flags the file and tells you to re-scan from paper. That is the mistake that generates the most rejections.

Common questions

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens inside your browser. Passports, bank statements and police certificates never leave your device. That is also why it works on a bad connection.

Can I use photos from my phone?

Yes. JPG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC from an iPhone. Each photo becomes an A4 page with the right orientation.

What about Word or Excel files?

They cannot be converted inside a browser. Open them and use File → Save as PDF, then bring that PDF here.

A page came out sideways, can I rotate it?

Yes. Open Check pages and turn it. A sideways document is one of the most common reasons a filing gets sent back.
