The tool was built after ordinary PDF compressors made official filing documents too blurry to review.

Why it exists

While preparing two Colombia work-visa applications, the document package exceeded the portal allowance. A general-purpose compressor reduced the size but also damaged fine details in an apostilled diploma. Another page was left sideways. The application required corrected documents.

What is different

Listo para Subir considers the complete package, preserves native text, avoids making a file larger and warns when a source scan is already weak. It is designed around whether a human reviewer can still read the result.

How privacy works

The site is static. PDF and image processing runs in your browser with open-source libraries hosted on this domain. There is no application server or user database receiving selected documents.

Who built it

Maxime Jean created the site after encountering the problem while supporting foreign employees in Bogotá. The project is independent and is not affiliated with the Colombian government or another authority.
